They found that men who ate tomato sauce two to four times pr week had a 35 % lower risk of developing prostate cancer than men who ate none. A carotenoid called lycopene, which contains in tomato, appeared to be responsible. For best absorption of carotenoid, tomato should be cooked with some kind of fat. So pizza may b just what the doctor ordered.
